a square one acre park, each side 208 feet long. it is built by pinning heavyweight curtains to timber posts footed in the soil. the internal space could be used as a venue for exhibition, music, dancing, eating, or general park activities. by framing soft walls, there is a feeling of enclosure but only by walls and not roof. the open endedness of the park’s function is set in the frame or display case of a simple perimeter that becomes a spatial measuring tool for activity.
